Super Sunny Sunday

Before I start telling you all about my Super Intense Sunday... I just want to brag for a few minutes!

LOOK at my sister!!! The first 2 pictures are her 3 months ago. And the last 2 are from this morning. She has lost 17 of the 30 pounds that she is planning to lose. She is only 13 pounds away from her goal weight. I couldn't tell you just how proud I am of her. It has been a tough 7 weeks of bootcamp and I know that each day has been a new struggle. But, she has worked hard and she is over halfway there.
You go Sacha!!! :)

Okay, so as usual, I woke up to Sunday Morning Breakfast!! Eggs, Bacon, Toast with Jelly, and potatoes!! Yup, it was yummy!!! :)

Then, I got ready for church!

After church, I got headed to Arkadelphia to meet Jackson. He took me to Little Rock to climb Pinnacle Mountain. It was a first for both of us. We loved it!
We hiked the Ouachita Trail up the East Summit. I don't know if you can read the sign. But, it says:
Blaze Color: Red/White
Distance: 1 1/2 Mile Roundtrip
Difficulty: VERY DIFFICULT STEEP TERRAIN
Approx. Hike Time: 2 hours

It was the most intense hike I have EVER done.
We basically climbed a giant cliff of boulders.

Here's a collage of some of the pictures we took on the way up the mountain. I took about 5,000 so, I figured I would save you some time and put several pictures into one.

Notice we still look pretty happy trying to climb up this crazy mountain...

Once we got to the top, we had to take a load off and enjoy the view for a while. We were exhausted!!!
Annnnnd... our chacos matched! :)

Then we took about a billion more pictures at the top of the mountain!

I mean... It was beautiful. You can never have too many pictures of a beautiful experience!

Just look at that view!! I could have stayed up there all day! Mainly because I was exhausted from climbing up the mountain... But, also because I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful view. God really was showing off up there! Amazing!!!

And here we are back down at the bottom.... As you can see, we were so tired!! It was a rough climb. But, I am so glad we did it. It was an incredible experience.

Then, when I got home... I was rewarded with homemade tacos! Yup... I'm spoiled ;)

Yall have a wonderful night!
I've gotta get some sleep.
Goodnight!! :)

Sunday Semi-Funday

What a day...

It started out great! Ya know, the usual..
Sunday Morning Breakfast with the family before church.

Then, after church, I took off to Texarkana to see Jackson before he had to go to work.

Mom had to make sure I made it there without starving or getting dehydrated. So, she sent grapes and water! Thanks Mom!

Then, when I finally made it to Texarkana, I got to spend a few hours with this handsome guy!

We "popped some tags" today!! :)

Jack got some new boots!

Annnnd he bought me a Rangers T-Shirt!
(We have a reason.. But, I will share that with you in a few weeks!)

Oh, Annnnnd we got to spend a little bit of time with these lovely people!
Ashley and Royce!!!
Ash was one of my roommates my freshman year at HSU and Royce was one of Jackson's roommates! We had a good time together today! We all went to the Cold Stone and shared some yummy ice cream and then they went shopping with us! It was great!

I love this girl so much!!!

Then, to end our date.. Jack and I got matching shaved ice! He got "Skrawbewwy" and I got "Skrawbewwy Cheesecake"... Apparently that's the way alot of his customers say it! Either way, it was delicious!

And then... I tried to go home. I made it ALL the way from Texarkana to the very middle of nowhere (nearly 30 minutes from my house) before my tire blew!!! Which normally would not be a big deal. I'm a big girl.. I can change a tire (I took driver's ed, I mean, come on!) BUT.. the wrench that goes with my jack was messed up. So, even if I wanted to change the tire in the middle of nowhere, I couldn't.

So, what does any other normal girl do when she has a flat tire? She calls her D...... MOM! But, lucky me.. in the middle of nowhere there is no cell phone service!! Soooo... I cried! Yes, I admit it.. I cried! Thankfully, I only had to stand there and cry for about 2 minutes before God felt sorry for me :)

All of a sudden this super sweet family, traveling from New Mexico, pulls over and asks me if I need help. I tell them what happened and they use their OnStar to call my momma, which still didn't work, and then offered to give me a ride home.

Then, my dad came to the rescue(like he does QUITE often)! :)
We headed to my car and tried to change that stinking tire. But, we ran into issue after issue preventing us from getting it fixed. Finally, 2 and a half hours later.. the tire was changed and we headed home!

Once we got home, Dad went to bed! Poor guy has to be up at 4am for work. And then Mom, Sacha, and I watched a new movie... the Call, with Halle Berry in it. We really liked it.

Anyway... by now its WAY past my bedtime. And I have another long day ahead of me tomorrow so I have got to get some sleep! Goodnight!

Sunday Funday (Father's Day)

I want to start tonight's blog post by saying Happy Father's Day! I know that I am truly blessed when I look at these two men. I could not have chosen better men to guide me through this crazy thing called life. I have two absolutely wonderful dads!

Daddy, Papa, Hero, First Love!
There are so many words to describe this man. And, I could not be luckier to be his little girl. Some days I catch myself being so sad that I live half way around the world from him. And other days I remember how, in a way, that makes me very lucky. I may very well be the ONLY girl that has NEVER been mad at her dad. He never yells at me, gets disappointed in me, or sends me to my room. I have had nothing but GOOD moments with my daddy! We always have fun together, he always makes me laugh. But, I only see him once a year! Regardless of the time and distance separating us though, I love this man as big as the moon! He is my Papa! :)

My Daddio, My Rock, My Hero, My Dad.
So, again.. I am probably the luckiest girl on the face of the planet! I couldn't be more thankful for this man! He has loved me, cared for me, and guided me through some of the most important years of my life. Without him, I don't know where I'd be. I will forever be grateful for his love and support. He has been a wonderful example of a husband and I can only hope that one day my husband will love me as much as this man loves my mother! I am blessed beyond measure!

Now... On to Sunday Funday!!

We had a crazy fun day!

I woke up early to cook breakfast for Dad. Mom was my assistant (Which really means really she did most of the complicated work, and I took all the credit!) Aren't I sweet?

After Sunday Morning Breakfast, Reesie helped me get ready!

Them mom and I went to Church! :)

After church, JACKSON came over and we all went down to the river for some family time!

After a long day on the river, we finally went back up to the house and had dinner. Dad grilled some steaks and made some delicious potato salad and of course some baked beans. It was all wonderful.

Oh, and don't forget the cheesecake. WHY?! Why would you even have cheesecake in this house... who can resist cheesecake????

Now, after a long day filled with family and friends I am finally relaxing and getting ready for bed! Its already very late and we are getting up at 6:30 to start week 6 of Bootcamp. This week we are going HARD! I'm excited to get started! Goodnight. I'll see you bright and early!

Sunday Funday

I swear, Sundays are my favorite day of the week! I just love Sundays so much!

This morning, after scarfing down Sunday Morning breakfast (before I could even take a picture of it) I headed to Texarkana to see Jackson!

We only had a few hours together today because he actually had to work tonight. So, we decided to go to Lewisville to see his sweet family! We stopped by his childhood best friend's wedding shower, and then we decided to go to lunch!

We ate at Burges! It was such a cute little restaurant in Lewisville. It was actually the ONLY restaurant open in Lewisville. But, it was soooo good! We may or may not have both eaten a big juicy delicious cheeseburger! Again, no picture.. So, no proof! :)

When we finished our lunch, we drove back to Texarkana so Jack could make it to work on time! But, of course, before he went in to work, he got me a shaved ice!!!
It was super yummy! Dreamsicle is my absolute favorite! And Jack is so sweet for getting me some for my ride home.

Then.. I left Texarkana and came back to Arkansas!
(This sign always trips me up! It feels so weird to think I wasn't actually in Arkansas!)

But, anyway.. I drove and drove and drove until I got to Arkadelphia!
I've been in my car WAY too much today! But, I'm finally home and I'm going to spend the rest of the night relaxing and watching movies! Yup! That's the plan!

I hope you've all had a wonderful Sunday! Goodnight! :)

Super Fun Sunday

Wow! What a day!! I know it's late.. Most of you probably won't read this until tomorrow. But, I've had such a fun day! I've been soooo busy!

Here's what happened:
I woke up early to the smell of bacon. Yum!!
Like I've said before.. Sunday Morning Breakfast is the BEST!! We had eggs, bacon, and toast! It was wonderful.

Then, I got all dressed up and went to church!

After church, I headed to Texarkana to see Jackson!

--Confession Time: I am the girl who spends more time looking up at the sky than down at the road while I drive! So, beware if you see me on the road :P

It was just an absolutely beautiful day. I couldn't help myself!

When I got to Texarkana, we started by helping his momma move! Which basically means Jack helped load things onto the trailer and I mainly supervised and talked!

Then, Jack took me to Red Lobster!! I know, I have it rough! ;)
After we ate.. We went to a precious little place called Southern Tropics! (Jack has a summer job there!) It's a shaved ice stand. Which is completely different than a snow cone stand! It's pretty much the best thing since sliced bread! :)

Now, Jackson is not an ordinary boyfriend. He didn't just buy me shaved ice.. He also got me a super cute Southern Tropics tank!
Yup!! He's the best!!

Then, we went to Summerhill Park to eat our shaved ice! It is absolutely beautiful!!
Breathtaking, right? Can you see the rainbow in the fountain?

It was so pretty today that I got a little carried away with pictures. I even made Jack take a really cheesy one..
See the heart we made? I thought it was cute!! :)

Oh, and then I'm pretty sure this is illegal:
But, it was so sweet. So, I took a picture!!

When we left the park, we met some friends at the movies!! We watched Do You See Me Now! It wax GREAT!! If you haven't seen it yet, you should! We loved it!

When we left the movies, Jack bought me some Starbucks Coffee (shame on him) to help me stay awake on my long drive back to Glenwood! He's so sweet!

So, that was Super Fun Sunday for ya!! Thanks for checking out my blog! Check back in just a few hours for Week 4 Day 1.. We start bright and early! Goodnight!
