Bootcamp Day 3-

We woke up before the sun came up to do our bootcamp this morning! It was totally worth watching the sun rise as we ran. Like I've said before we start each workout session with 15 minutes of cardio. So, mom and I went outside and ran while Sacha got on her treadmill.

Today we tried to focus more on our legs than anything else.
We started with an exercise that I like to call sideways scissors.
Lay on the floor, arms down by your sides, legs up in the air and spread just a little past shoulder width apart. Then slowly bring your legs together and cross them at the ankles. We did this 20 times slowly!

Rest for 10 seconds

Then we did Lunges!!

We did 20 lunges on each leg. Make sure to get your knee as close to the floor as you can.

Next we did Single Leg Raises.
Lay on your side, hips and chest forward, then raise top leg as high as you can.
Raise leg slowly 20 times
Switch sides

Then we did assisted leg lifts.
Lay on your side again, hips and chest forward, top leg on a chair, bottom leg on the floor. Lift leg slowly to the bottom of the chair.

Next we did Thunder Thighs (I think I made that name up!)
Lay on your side, hips and chest forward, bend knees about 45 degrees. Keeping ankles together, lift top knee as high as you can.
Lift knee 20 times
Switch sides

And we ended with Sacha's favorite(NOT) Mini Crossfit:

1 Burpee and 5 Squats
2 Burpees and 4 Squats
3 Burpees and 3 Squats
4 Burpees and 2 Squats
5 Burpees and 1 Squat.
Rest for 45 seconds.
Repeat in the opposite direction!

And that's it for today!! Not too bad huh?

Our workout went really well this morning! I'm so proud of mom for keeping up with us and doing all the workouts with very little complaining! We had a good time. I hope you enjoy the workouts as well! Good Luck!
