Bootcamp Day 5-

What a beautifully foggy day for an early morning run. But, foggy or not, we got up and did our 15 minutes of cardio. Honestly, running on a foggy morning might not be quite as bad as running in 90 degree weather. So, why complain? 
And a little brag moment... Sacha knocked a minuted and a half off her mile today! I'm so proud of her! :) Anyhow, back to business.. 

After cardio, we got stared with the Mini Cross Fit.
1 Burpee and 5 Squats
2 Burpees and 4 Squats
3 Burpees and 3 Squats
4 Burpees and 2 Squats
5 Burpees and 1 Squat.
Rest for 45 seconds.
Repeat in the opposite direction!
(Here is a video to help you figure out the burpees)




Then we did Lunges.
We did 3 set of 20.



Next we did Thunder Thighs.
Lay on your side, hips and chest forward, bend knees about 45 degrees. Keeping ankles together, lift top knee as high as you can.
Lift knee 20 times
Switch sides
Lift knee 20 times
Switch sides
Lift knee 20 times
Switch sides
Lift knee 20 times



Then we did Assisted Leg Lifts!


Lay on your side, hips and chest forward, top leg on a chair, bottom leg on the floor. Lift leg slowly to the bottom of the chair.

Lift 20 times
Rest 10 secs
Lift 20 times
Switch sides
Lift 20 times
Rest 10 secs
Lift 20 times




Next we did Sideways Scissors.
20 times slowly
Rest for 10 secs
20 times slowly
Rest for 10 secs
20 times slowly

Lay on floor, arms by sides, legs up and spread just a little past shoulder width apart. Then slowly bring your legs together and cross them at the ankles.



Then we did Tricep Dips
Sit on the edge of something sturdy (chair, coffee table, couch etc.) While supporting your weight with your hands, lift your body up and away from the chair. Dip your body up and down.
Dip 10 times
15 sec rest
Dip 10 times
15 sec rest
Dip 10 times




And last we did Single Leg Raises.
Lay on your side, hips and chest forward, then raise top leg as high as you can.
Raise leg 20 times
Switch sides
Raise leg 20 times
Switch sides
Raise leg 20 times
Switch sides
Raise leg 20 times





Annnnd that's it for today!!!! :)
We were pretty tired after our workout!!!
