Week 8 Day 3 (Intense Full Body)

Today was probably one of the most intense days of Bootcamp all summer!!! And lucky for us, we had two guests. Kiley and David Lee came by to join us this morning.


We got right to business. (After taking our group photo!)
We started with our morning run, like always. 
It wasn't too bad this morning though..
It was actually pretty chilly when we got out there.

Then, when we finished our run, we started another day of the "Fitness Countdown". If you happen to miss Monday's post and don't know how the countdown works, I'll quickly explain:

We start by picking approximately 4 exercises.
Then, we do each exercise back to back, doing each exercise 10 times, then 9, then 8, and so on.
So here's what we did:

Exercise 1: Jumping Jacks

Exercise 2: Squat Kicks


Exercise 3: Wall Sits


Exercise 4: Partner Leg Lifts

Here's an overview of what we did to help you understand just a little better:

10 Jumping Jacks
10 Squat Kicks (per leg)
100 second Wall Sit 
100 Second Partner Leg Lifts

9 Jumping Jacks
9 Squat Kicks (per leg)
90 second Wall Sit
90 second Partner Leg Lifts

8 Jumping Jacks
8 Squat Kicks (per leg)
80 second Wall Sit
80 second Partner Leg Lifts

and so on all the way down to 1!

They were not very excited about it at first. But, they pushed through and by the time we made it down to 1, they felt empowered and ready to take on the world!! (Well, kinda!)


I'm very proud of how hard this group worked today! It was definitely a rough experience but they kept going and we finished the workout!
